    After WWII, & fulfilling their contracts with the Peerless Handcuff Company from 1914-Nov 15, 1940, in 1952, Smith & Wesson opened up their own line of handcuffs under the S&W name & logo..
    Shown here are some examples of the handcuff printers blocks used in the printing of the Smith & Wesson advertising brochures and advertisement. These came out of the Smith & Wesson factory.
    The handcuff sales brochure shown here with the printer blocks is from October 1953.
    Smith & Wesson is still a leading manufacture in handcuffs today, being manufactured in Houlton, Maine.

      jscott0363 & purvis, "These found me". I received a phone call from the office of a longtime employee of S&W and was told to watch for a large box at my post office. These are just a few of the the items I received.
