I found these in an old tool chest. I have not had any luck finding similar tools online. The tips appear to be lead.

      Found one, Antique Soldering Iron!
    2. flashlarue flashlarue, 6 years ago
These soldering irons were heated using a blow torch. The blow torches had a rest on top where the soldering iron sat while heating up. There are a wide array of sizes of these soldering irons depending on the side of the area to be soldered.

In a tinsmith's shop they were heated in a small coal-fired (and later gas) stove, about the size of a shoebox.

      PS. The ends are copper.

Agree w/flashlaure & UncleRon who is also correct that their tips are actually made of copper -- due to that fact, they were also commonly known as "soldering coppers" -- you might have better luck searching that term to find similar examples.
