I am not a CW fan, but Hank Sr. and Patsy Cline are the exceptions.

Ya know, I bought the CD version of this back around the turn of the millennium. I'd always thought that I didn't like Country & Western music, but I was browsing in the record store one day, picked it up, started reading the song titles, and clips of the songs automatically played in my head. I had to say to myself, "Hmmm, not only do I know most of these songs...I kinda like 'em."

My father used to see Hank play at small joints here before he got famous. My grandmother used to play his records when I was a pup. My cousin dated Charles Carr, who was the driver wgen Hank died. Thanks for this share.

And I have to say that old Hank truly understood wanderlust when he wrote "Ramblin' Man":

      There's somethin' o'er the hill
      That I got to see

I know it`s mellow, but my Dad got me hooked on the late great Jim Reeves.
