I have only been able to find one other like this. It was at an auction and the seller had no idea where she got it or what it was.

It is 8 1/2 inches tall and the foot is 3 1/4 inches in diameter. It appears that the vase was made and then pressed into the base which is about 1/2 inch thick. There are a few small air bubbles trapped in the foot.

The exterior of the vase is smooth as you would expect for glass, but the interior has small wavy vertical grooves and folds.
It has 4 applied glass flowers and a clear glass vine.

Does anyone have any tips as to which direction I might search to discover more about this vase?

I have been researching I am guessing that this is slag glass. I wish I could find examples that are close to this pattern.
