John McCloskey had a bottling operation in St. Louis, Missouri and was located at 413 N. 12th Street. He bottled a drink called Belfast Ginger Ale. Mead was also a popular drink that he bottled. John started bottling in St. Louis around 1867. He later teamed up with another bottler named Klaren. I do not have any McCloskey & Klaren bottles.
John would later get into the machinery business and was president of the St. Louis Carbonating & Manufacturing Co.

Pic #2 is a McCloskey & Co bottle which was an Xmas gift from my daughter.
Pic #1 has the Belfast Ginger Ale notation on the bottle.
Both bottles date to the late 1800's
