I’m not a coin expert but the 1942 mercury dime is worth quite a tidy sum. Best to have it appraised by a couple reputable coin dealers.

I'm not sure what Kramer sees as a tidy sum but this dime won't buy you a cup of coffee. The silver dollar is worth more for scrap silver than as a collectable. They are both circulated and worn but both worth more than face value for sure. You can get a big mac, fries and a drink and get a little change back.
I agree with you @fhrjr2...I don't know what Kramer sees as a tidy sum for this dime. I have more than 100 Mercury dime and is very clean and bright condition courtesy of my partner's dad who passed away collecting silver coins since he was a child. A Mercury dime is worth $1.10 based on the coin store in my area.
