    A defining moment of the 1960s protest movement was when, as the war was winding down / ending, the passion was redirected to the injustices against the American Indian Nation. This was soon to shift to the anti-Nuclear movement.

      I've mentioned before on CW how I was raised by a Creek-Cherokee who was saved from deportation to OK from AL and how her grandfather, who fought for the Confederacy, said, "I've seen how the white man kills. And they call us 'savages'"!
