A friend brought this to me a little while ago. He found it in a yard he was cleaning out today and the owner told him he could have whatever he wanted. At first we thought it was real, but then i realized it's a little too heavy and strong for bone. It's made of resin. It's also a bit large.

My father was a doctor & we had one in the hall closet (Real). As I remember, there were 2 screws on either side of the jaw with a detachable spring that held it in place.

I'm glad you pointed out that this isn't a *real* human skull -- at first glance I thought it was "creepy" but if he's truly a replica all's good and I agree w/Lauren -- a handsome fellow indeed that I'd happily add to my own shelves-ful someplace?!! :-)
