    At 11 inches tall, this is my largest Shiwan piece so far. This is an older one, but i don't know when it was made. early 20th century, maybe? there are a couple repairs, but they don't bother me.

      We talk a lot about the NIppon-Japan marks, for export, but China did not appear till the first USA Tarif laws in early 1890s requesting the country of provenance be applied on the decorative piece.

      I agree with you, pre 1920 post 1890. Very nice example.
