Original signed Florida Proclamation with Seal by Governor Claude R. Kirk Jr. on August 27th, 1969. I’ve been reading articles where “Never Underestimate the Power of a Woman” has been used in different subjects and movements to address the power of Woman in society. I remembered I had this original signed Proclamation from Florida putting into law a period from September 8 - 13, 1969 to proclaim “Never to Underestimate The Power of A Woman Week” . Thought it would be cool to put it up, so it shows even in 1969 women were working to get the recognition in our society they deserve. It measures 8 x 13 inches.
