Hi All! I need you help here! REALLY interesting Art plate. Found in Redwood City, CA. Any Ideas? Stoneware. 12.5". Looks like Stewart on the back & 954. I don't even know what the technique is called! There is some texture in some of the glazes. Particularly on the woman.

Hello Celiene this is sure a interesting piece thought it was a tray st first but looks like it was made as an art piece to be hung never seen anything like it a few things look familiar the swirls I have seen on petroglyphs and the naked lady looks a little familiar lol good luck

I got a suggestion from a friend it may be Jim Stewart. Looks to be a possibility. It is VERY interesting, and I'd love to know the meaning of it!
Good suggestion looks right the swirls are sun signs in native American I would like to know how to play this board game wonder if there are more pieces
