Picked up this little guy in an online auction earlier this week. FedEx drooped him on my porch yesterday. I have the distinct feeling he'll be one of my favorites for a long time.

I love the colorful parrot brooch ..... but I don’t get the title.
The title. I placed a very low bid in an online auction for this guy hours before the end of the auction. That was the shot. (My bid was so low that I ALMOST feel bad) and nobody outbid me. The SCORE!

Stone. Turquoise, mother of pearl and spiny oyster.
And count me as another “real” bird brain since I couldn’t connect the title to the item. :^)

thanks, all of you! I know that second pic is a little blurry, but it's a pin/pendant. Pretty sure some people that know I'm usually interested in a quick flip are gonna be a little peeved when I'm out and about and they hear those three little words "not for sale".
