The New Ruckl Bowl & Black Glass Plinth Become A Marker, for many Art Glass Pieces by Ruckl

This black glass plinth which is a Czech version, as the Fenton Glass Company in the USA also made black glass plinths to use with several of their glass pieces.

What I had noticed with my Ruckl Glass Collection is that many items had a smaller than normal foot rest, yet all in the same style of a 1/2 inch deep rounded inside cavity, seen from the top or the bottom.

Amazing how a detail can suddenly become a major aspect of the molded hot glass fabrication for us. Image 3 shows the base of bottle vases and an assortment of large bowls. Image 4 shows a bigger profile of the Ruckl glass piece.
