Smith Miller mobiloil tanker. 1958 Mack truck B61 model.

This is a 1990 Smith Miller Mobiloil tanker built from original NOS parts from the Smith Miller warehouse. It fun building these old toys from original parts made in the 90’s. NOS parts are hard to come by. But once in awhile I’m able to find them. Been dealing with the owner of Smith Miller for the past 10 years. He bought the original 1950 company and all the original dies back in the 80’s. This truck is over 18” long and is pretty heavy at 8 lbs . It’s made of Aluminum and a wood tank. Lots of polished aluminum also. Not hard to build just need a drill press and the proper tools. Takes about two weeks to build . The painting takes the most time.
