The wife and I went to the on-site auction at the Snuff Factory 20 plus years ago.
They were I believe the oldest working factory in U.S. Started in the 1600's. Water driven!!! Leather belted Grinding wheels ground the tobacco into Snuff. You could still smell the sweet tobacco!!! It was a trip back in time. All gone now!!! To build housing, "They took down Paradise and put up a Parking Lot!!!"
