Wm. A Rogers Silver Plate Bride's Basket Made in Canada

I don't really like anything silver plated but when it comes to bride's baskets, most of them are. This basket was a great deal and looks rather nice even though the glass bowl doesn't match. I have several ruffled Victorian glass bowls that would be a perfect addition to the basket but they are all either too small or too big. Well, until I find the perfect bowl, this blue one will have to do.

While researching this basket I found countless companies producing silver and silver plated items carrying the "Rogers" name as well, just with different additions to it. This was rather confusion but I am sure that the maker of my basket was for sure a local Canadian company.
