I don’t know what this actually is? It’s about 14” tall, faux stained glass and wrought iron scrolls. The opening under the lid is only about 2.25”. I rule out candy jar. Compote? It’s been around since the late 1960’s. I can’t find anything like it online, not even on eBay. Not knowing what it’s called or used for doesn’t help matters. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Not concerned with value or lack thereof. Thank you!
