Hello Collectors, I'm back again with a recent find. A very long Trifari fur clip. This 4" long piece is a patented Alfred Philippe design. Patent number, 116,084, dated August 9, 1939. The clip measures 1 and 1/4" wide. The stones are set in a Victorian revival manner and the whole design aesthetic is Victorian/Edwardian in feeling, IMHO.
I was thrilled to find this piece.
Thanks for stopping by.
Ken, Thanks for the lovely compliment and the love!
Watchsearcher and Fortapache, thanks for the love!
Like Ken said, great find and just beautiful!
Wowzer! I’m in total awe, that you found this piece at a thrift????
Magnificent in every sense of the word! And once again, look at the condition of this piece that is just over 80 years old. Tells of the quality of Trifari, and being the author of “The Story of Trifari”, something to which I don’t have to tell you, my dear!
Wonderful, wonderful find Maureen!
I am so happy for you, this masterpiece went to the right home!
Mrstyndall, thanks for your affirmative comment and love!
