    Only in a Small Town
    I left a large city to work in a small central Wisconsin village and have lived here for 44 years now. A few months ago at my wife's garage sale an estate picker showed me an ancient coin which I was able to help him attribute. I told him I was always looking for badges. Today as I was walking up Main St. our local police chief pulled up to me and handed me a deputy Sheriff hat badge from Berrien County, Mich. It was from the man I had helped with the coin! He asked the chief if he knew a Fred who collects badges which he did. Only in a small town!
