Brass Ram Head Bookend

I bought this a few years ago. It is very detailed and heavy. When I first saw it I noticed the gallery label on the bottom. I thought it was a statue. Then I realized it's a half of a pair of bookends.

I realize now that the gallery was probably not an art gallery. It was probably more of a high-end shop that sold vintage items like this and is now out of business.

I wish that I had the matching pair because they are worth a little bit of money. Regardless I still enjoy looking at this one.
