I was prowling through a yard / garage sale when I spotted this guy. I had to buy the ROOSTER. I have never used it but still enjoy having it on my desk. I was told it is pre prohibition and likely pre 1900 as well. Cheers ANY INFO APPRECIATED Thanks

Here is what I found on interweb
It's still produced and there's lots of information history online.
Originally established in 1856 in Paris, Kentucky, Chicken Cock quickly became one of the larger bourbon brands of the 19th century. Forced to move production to Canada when Prohibition started, Chicken Cock was smuggled across the border in tin cans, where it rose to fame as a popular serve at some of the era’s most famous speakeasies, including the legendary Cotton Club in Harlem.
Origin: American
Variety: Bourbon

Hey A Obscure Thank YOU
The 160th Anniversary Single Barrel Bourbon won a double gold medal at the prestigious 2017 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, platinum medal at the consumer-judged 2017 SIP Awards, and scored 94 points at the 2018 Ultimate Spirits Challenge. A very good bourbon! I prefer a straight rye whiskey like Whistle Pig....but.... for a bourbon Whiskey...Chicken Cock is Great!
