This original advertising for the Wm. R. White "Vibrating Gate" was gifted to me by a friend and fellow collector. It is advertising for the Salesman Sample Gate in my collection. The last photo is a model of a manually operated gate that sold at auction a few years ago. Unfortunately I didn't learn of the auction until after the fact.
Wr. White was the first to manufacture metallic gates.

I found it fascinating how many loans he got from friends and family and other people. Just to accomplish his goal and get patents.
Mr White's story is a rags to riches. Wish there was room to include his story.
