Early electric wireless stainless steel tea kettle

I would like to know anything about this electric wireless tea kettle. The label is in Oriental languages that I cannot read. It was purchased at an antique store to add to my coffee pot collection, because it is unique to any I have seen. It works well. The switch has three positions, Auto, Stop, and Manual. Water will boil within a couple minutes. The cord has a two prong polarized North American style plug. I would be curious to know the age and where it was made.
