Galle Art Glass, Unusual Shape and Motif

I inherited this small Galle bowl from my mom, who paid over $800 for it to a Virginia antique dealer in the mid 1990s. There is no "TIP" on the piece, but other than that I have no idea if this is really from the Galle factory. It seems heavy for its size (4.25"H x 5.5"W x 5.5"D.) at 1.5 lbs. It's pretty but I know nothing about art glass other than what I picked up on the Internet.
