    i found these 7 sweetmeat dishes - all the same w/ minor differences in the painting. very pretty design of crane. and peony i think these are Chinese although they do look Japanese in design. Republic maybe? Crane signifies longevity, i believe. forgot what peony signifies.

      you could be right but i think its Proc, thin glazing , gilt rim, watery glazing , can,t substantiate just a feeling
