    One is, I believe, Neptune, from a 200 year old house. The other, a very old tile, w gold edges, RF on blue, is an inheritance with no history... any info would be appreciated

      These are beautiful - love the colours. Would so appreciate being able to better study them. I wrote this remark to another up-side-down poster just now:

      "Welcome to CW! I would really love to read the bottom of your plate......but unless you post a "straight up" version, I wont be able to. There are some tips on taking photos in the Help & FAQ's area. There are four spaces for pics, you can edit and/or delete any pic."

      I looked through your other posts and you do have some that are right side up!
