One of my Rose Bowl finds. These are MPC Prehistoric Animals. Basically they are smaller copies of the Marx dinosaurs with slightly different poses. They came on two cards with 12 (I think) on each card for a total of 24 creatures. The length and weight was on the tail of each Now on with each photo and it will take me a bit to find the spelling.
Photo #2 Brontosaurus, Kronosaurus (pliosaur) and Trachodon.
Photo #3 Diatryma, Moschops and Tyrannosaurus. Diatryma was one that Marx did not make. It was a giant flightless bird and apex predator.
Photo #4 Styracosaurus, Smilodon (sabre tooth tiger), Stegosaurus and Triceratops.
These were also used as cereal premiums. Actually I am thinking this lot is cereal premiums as the carded figures were different colors. Although silver was used for both the cards and cereal.
Please note that one can never have too many dinosaurs.
