Hello! I found this really cool choker necklace at a junk shop today, it is a apple juice color with gold color flakes inside. Anyone know anything about this kind of thing? I searched and the only thing I saw was something called stardust Bakelite? Thanks a bunch!

Fun, you can take one more picture uncoiled. I've been doing some online searching lately too, and was surprised to see the term "stardust bakelite", that's a new one for me in 40 years of collecting old plastics. Clear bakelite is usually termed prystal. It can be clear, yellow, red, green, blue but flecks inside tends more to Lucite or resin plastics - also can be collectible. The 2 silver beads in pic 2 are popular new bead designs. What does the clasp look like? That helps date things.

There is no clasp, the flat beads are on a stiff wire? It sits at the collarbone, choker style. It is very unique!

Thanks, the 4th picture really helps. And, it's pretty new artisan design on "memory wire". It's possible that the plastic beads are vintage. Very unique.
