That's quite a good likeness of the late Edward Hardwicke as Dr Watson in the Granada version of Sherlock Holmes! Wonderful piece.

Curiosity lead me to these other two fantastic watercolors by Patrick Varriano...finding he is a very talented painter, especially with water color. Great portrait you have!
