Tea Cup Holder

I found this lonely piece, and for 50 cents it had to come home with me. Why, I am not too sure. The tea cup holder looks very Art Deco to me. The handle is a disk of Bakelite. The whole thing weights about 45 grams.

I believe that the holder is Silver. I cannot read the mark very well but it looks like 835S or 935S. Because of the letter S, I think it is Scandinavian.

There are some other marks but I have not been able to identify them.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
