Trying to learn more about this, but am feeling very stuck. Have almost no information to give! The colours, but not the iconography, give me Pueblo.
I’d love any insight or guidance!

Your pot is Shipibo, from the Amazon Rainforest of Peru.
It looks old, but it is contemporary. Prior to the late 1940s, the pottery the Shipibo made was plain, and undecorated. After World War II, missionaries to the area convinced the potters that if they decorated the pots with the traditional designs used on their textiles and face painting, they would have an item that would sell well on the market. It has become the tribe's main source of income.
Some potters have recently added small figural designs to the pottery, rather than sticking strictly to the faces they had added in the late 1950s/early l960s, or to the original maze-like traditional patterns taken from their textiles.
