I think the Republic Oil Refinery was in Texas and was built up during the War in the 1940s. We bought this very nice Republic sign several years ago before prices went nuts when Biden switched us from the dollar to the Peso. Because it’s not a big pole sign we never had the right place to display it until we built the new building for the Lakeside Museum Event Center. It looks pretty good up in the air with the other porcelain signs.

I had one show up at my house a few years back but was priced so high and had a chip literally ever square inch front and back.
