My New Years resolution is to go through the boxes of items that’s been passed down to me over the years.Here is 3 wooden purses that were filled with literally hundreds of pieces of old jewelry.Most of it looks like costume jewelry.Anton Pieck made the one wooden purse with interchangeable panels.The mushrooms rabbit and frog panel is raised.I’m not sure what kind of fur the small mid century clutch is made from but it’s the softest I’ve ever felt that my great grandmother took really good care of.I don’t know who made this that has a yellow bird or maybe even a flower of some kind on the inside that I’ve show in the last picture. What fabulous vintage purses, each one has its own beauty; the ivory floral & Pieck paneled are esp lovely, and I can truly imagine the softness of your great grandma's clutch - my own GM had the softest borgana coat I would cuddle against on long car rides...fond memories & thoughtful traditions :)
