    A dear friend found this at Goodwill, and knowing that my pepper grinder had broken, grabbed it for me. It is brass, I believe. Heavy and with intricate engraving or stamping. There is no makers mark or location. The design appears to be Indian( perhaps only to my uneducated brain)
    I shall treasure it !

      COOL!!! Is it marked? I have one similar (that I need to clean up and show) that says MADE IN GREECE on the bottom.
