I Found this at the Flea Market on Saturday February 5th, 2022, it's a Carved Alabaster Bust of a Boy with a Feather in his Hat/cap, I was able to find an Alabaster Bust of a Girl in a Hat that looks the same as the Boy, size and Base, but the one that I have is unmarked! The Boy that I have, is not damaged, this is the Information written for the Bust of the Girl that was on Ebay:
High: 5 inch; Widht 4 Depth 2,36 inch
CONDITIONS:
Perfect, just a few signs of aging and two small nicks on the edge of the big hat
DESCRIPTION:
Beautiful and very rare sculpture of a bust of a girl with a large hat in alabaster marble, made for the important Austrian manufacturer of Goldscheider signed under the base with a bronze plate with the brand of the manufacture. In our opinion the sculptor should be Otto Petri (1860-1942). The most important thing to say is that it is not a porcelain or a terracotta, so as beautiful as a multiple piece, here we are talking about a sculpture made directly by hand on the marble by the artist, therefore a single piece, not a multiple, a real little work of art. Very, very delicate, the little girl with the big hat typical of 1800s clothes and the beautiful bow on the chest. Dated around the end of 1800, in full Liberty style. Just below we have put some photos of the highest auction results obtained from pieces (obviously very large in size) of the Viennese manufacture of Goldscheider and also photos of small alabaster objects similar to ours offered at rather high prices and finally a pic of one of the marks of the Goldscheider manufacture and precisely that one with the sitted lady that you can find under our bust embossed on a little bronze slab.
