Lima Locomotive Works Bulldog

Many years ago my brother found this in an Antique shop. Since it was railroad related, he bought it. He knew I liked it so a few years later I received it as a birthday present. Made by Grey Iron Commercial Castings for the Lima Locomotive Works. I assume it is a paper weight. I never seen another in person but have spotted several on line over the past 30 years. Way back in the early 90's I made a rubber mold and cast several additional ones in plaster. Tried to any way. Always broke the ears off trying to remove it from the mold. Later I tried casting a copy out of resin. It worked! Paint chip and rust defects and all. I finished it in original colors just to see how one would look new. The original will stay untouched.
