It has a sticker from James B. Henderson - interior decorators from Washington DC. if you look closely at the photos, you can see the high quality of the workmanship. i've had this for awhile, but it's been out of view next to my bed for years. i'm moving now so i get to see things again. i think that the sticker denotes the 1920s or perhaps teens.

Good luck ???? n your move! That's what I just did. It's so overwhelming. If you are having a moving company move you, make sure you check to see if they know what anything vintage or antique is! And how to treat it! What a mess. Get insurance on the move as well! The moving company that did the job for me didn't know apparently that you don't pack an open box of pancake mix in with clothes! And I don't know if you remember the desk I posted here a while back, an executive desk with a custom glass top?! Well, that glass is broken too! I don't wanna be a downer to you, just be sure you are protected!!!
