Mom as she gets ready to leave on her honeymoon

This is a picture of my Grandma with my Mom as she gets ready to leave on their honeymoon after the wedding. One reason the photograph is special is because they are standing in front of the cabinet that grandpa skillfully made and now sits in our living room.
Another reason this photo is special today is because its the first Mother's Day that I can't tell Mom I love her and Thanks for being a great Mom, face to face. The last picture is mom enjoying her favorite ice cream cone from the Union Dairy ice cream shop in Freeport.
