    Found 24- beautiful Old Snuff bottles at an estate, And this Porcelain Box Owner stated they were purchased in Japan at a sale in the 80’s These are so cool wanted to show off a couple. I must research to find out more info on them.

      this is not late Qing period , this is late Proc, this is strange the lacquer is Qing design

      but the glazing is very shallow and there is diluted stroking, IMO this can,t be early




      this is Chinese sort of stylised Daosist symbol ( bind scrolls ?), i don,t know, have,not looked for it

      always nice to have one, but it won,t make you rich

      We have a similar box. The top is a piece of a repurposed shard from a vase.

      Congu you are right actually i stated the same but there are different turmoil periods, it is not only the culturele revolution period althoughwhich is the most important ( but there are others1911 revolution and kwo ming tang etc)

      and i can,t see the rest ( bad eyes), but the dilution is i think the key indicator
