    I found this guy today too. From Tonala, Guadalajara, Mexico. I really like these burnished Tonala pieces. The animals are kind of short-hand versions of animals which is unique to Mexican pottery. This one was made sometime between the 1940s and 60s. It's hard to pin down Mexican pottery as it is made the same way it has always been made.
