      I would just drool to have one like the second photo which reminds me of a pair of night and day inspired ones. Super gorgeous !~

      Oh yes. The hand carved italian marble & alabaster. She has quickly become one of my favorites and a pet project. That one is was very recently acquired. That pik shows only half of the lamp. The lower half of the lamp is a kind of Greek column or pillar with a square landing on top where the top pictured here sits. I'm in the process now of searching for a different shade. When we found her she had a harp with a pleated cloth shade. Not at all close to what was originally there which I believe was a 2 piece handcarved alabaster globe. So... this is what I'm looking for or as near as I can get. A bit difficult due to the fact that this piece was made anywhere from the late 1800s to around the 1920s.
