Small vase I found at goodwill this week. About 5 7/8" tall, and approximately 2 1/4" across top and base. Don't know much, but the colors are very rich and the blue glaze is nicely done. Design is slightly different on both sides, so I'm hoping that it was hand painted. Found a few online, with some older, and some reproduction (I think).not sure what category this one is, but for 4.00 I think I can deal with whatever it is! Thanks for looking, and have a great day everyone!

well actually it is not hard to pinpoint this type of vase , because this is a jingdezhen zhi - take care it is not a Zhonggue jingdezhen marked vase ( zhonggue meansChina , but it are different generations releases

actually we don,t need the mark to pin point, we probably could pinpoint by means of frotte ( paint stroking ) guangxh and republic period, are compartimentalised stroking as a sort of horizontal parketfloor , you got the cognitive effect of stacking an accumulation effect

nothing wrong with the vase no dispersion , no sweating, they probably painted around the dacal ,which possibly make it a hybride = design decal and the rest inside out painting ( so around the decal)

within the design the probably dont used a printingtrick but used paint it or overpaint it, so thats a rather delicate solution , so the status might be hybrid

the funny thing is almost all the experts define the application of mark as being handpainted , which is total BS and outcentered marking is one of the major blunders in chinese pottery

personnaly i got no trouble with it, and actually it looks real fine,
