    This is a picture of my Granfather Alfonzo E. Carrillo in El Paso , TEX. 1926. I liked this picture because of the color, street lights, windows and how people got dressed up to leave their houses. seemed like a classy time.

      Thank you Scott and blevinstreasures . I didn't know they could put color in pictures like this so long ago.

      It is not a "color photograph"-- it is a tinted black and white photograph.

      Tinting has been done on photographs for almost as long as photographs have been around. Many daguerreotype, ambrotypes and tintypes contain hand tinted features.
