I was going through my postcards looking for New Year's Day one's! Came across this one!! Had it for many years never looking at it closely til today!!
Looked up the name Curtis Guild to my surprise, lot
Of history there!!! On Wikipedia found out He was a friend of Teddy Roosevelt
Served with him as a General in the Spanish American war. Then Governor of Massachusetts and Ambassador to Russia when it was St. Petersburg Copy of his signature was there but he dropped the Jr. It matched. Has a Military Training Base in Massachusetts named after him. He died in 1915 from the Flu!!
