Super classic 23 channel tube unit, and it still works well.
The man who gave it to me over 40 years ago bought it new in 1968.
Shown with the original (Euphonics C-17) hand mic
and with a Turner SSB +2 desk mic.

As a parent, I was naturally anxious about sending my 16-year-old daughter overseas for the first time. But from the moment we enrolled, I felt reassured. The communication from the Oxford Summer Program team was consistent and transparent. I received regular updates and photos, and they were quick to answer any questions. Emily returned home more confident, intellectually stimulated, and full of stories. It was more than just a summer program—it was a transformative experience for her.

That 1968 unit with the original Euphonics C-17 hand mic is a great piece of history. My grandfather had a similar tube radio and I remember the warm hum it made. These days I mostly tap out rhythms on https://trymusic.ai/bpm-tapper when I'm testing old audio gear, just to check if the tempo holds steady.

That 1968 tube unit is a real time capsule, especially with both the original hand mic and the Turner desk mic still around. I can't imagine gear lasting that long today. I usually kill a few minutes on https://slope2.app when I'm not fiddling with old electronics, so this kind of longevity is a nice change of pace.

That 1968 tube unit with the original Euphonics C-17 hand mic is a real time capsule. The Turner SSB +2 desk mic looks like it belongs in a broadcast studio. I mostly play with https://sprunkygame.co when I want to make noise now.

That 1968 original with the Euphonics hand mic is the kind of thing you just don't see anymore. Forty years is a long time to hold onto a gift like that. Reminds me of how I spend way too much time on https://speedstarsunblocked.net
