Landscape painting from the 19th century ...

One of my relatives in the 19th century was an artist. In August 1881 he painted this landscape from the East coast of the Jutland peninsula. Far away we see the shepherd boy watching his small herd of cattle. Everything is peaceful. Oil on canvas. 38 cm X 64 cm. My grandfather saw and bought the painting at an art dealer.
