Here is a 4"W deep cobalt blue-black glass dog in reclining pose, made by JW Shelton Glassworks of Willamsburg VA, w/orig gold label. John W. Shelton is a master craftsman with @ 40 yrs experience using colonial era techniques, making his own glass from raw elements

Thanks Phil for your delightful comment & cool eye calling this pup dimensional, very perceptive that the blue & black gives it almost a lifelike shape. The glass artist JW Shelton is very creative in his glassmaking process, for example this dog is quite compact yet his ears & nose are most discernable. It was nice to find this 'new' glass artist as that always appeals to me
