Very well painted oil on hardboard panel from the 1960s, depicting an atmospheric forest scene.
Unfortunately I can't find a signature. Still, super well painted.
Dimensions with frame: 31 x 26 cm.

I like the color palatte of this painting. The artist does a nice job of injecting depth into the scene.

It's been said to take a black light to it...not too close tho! OR make your own blue light filter in your phones camera settings....

The background reminds me of a Rothko, but with a forest in front of it. Nice!

Funny that you write this because last week I was in the Guggenheim museum in Bilbao Spain and they have a large canvas of Mark Rothko hanging there. Always overwhelming to see a large canvas of him.
