When I was back in New Hampshire for the holidays, I brought back a few of the hundreds of postcards which belonged to my great grandmemere Rosilda LeClerq. There were not many women from Quebec at the time who could read and write and she was always very aware of that. She is almost always carrying a book or shown reading in photos we have of her. We have hundreds and hundreds of postcards. Many are from her friends back in Quebec - this was soon after she emigrated to the states. Many are also from her to my great grandpepere. As you can see in these photos, some of them were made with real hair and many are embossed images and some have fabric glued to them. Some are mysterious to me - like the one in the first photo which says 'Never Again'. I presumed that those words were associated with 9/11 or maybe one of the world wars, but these pre-date those events. Any idea what it could be referring to?

"Never Again" something to do with the world wars?
I see there are some newer war memorials in Canada that use those words in their title.
I'm pretty certain that all the cards are from 1903-1905 or within a year or two of this.
