Here is an approx 3"W red glass rabbit that was the Heisey Bunny, Head Up originally made in the late 1940s, reissued in the early 90s by Dalzell Viking for the HCA (Heisey Collectors of America), with raised imprint above the front leg. Excerpt from book Glass Animals by Spencer

Phil this was a nice find in the red glass, I already have the larger mama bunny in pink, so this baby will kind of complement it. I did NOT pay the whopping price in the book excerpt, perhaps because of its smaller size it was affordable (not cheap tho). Thank you for your terrific comment
DejaVu she surely is a sweet little girl, I love that classic deco rabbit design (probably designed by Royal Hickman, who did most Heisey 40s animals in art deco style), the head down pose is a bit pricier but someday I'll get it. Thank you for your marvelous comment
Thank you Sean for the kind love for this glass rabbit, it's always warmly appreciated
